Inspired by the trunk of a Travellers Palm, this tower in the heart of Dubai’s ‘Jumeirah Village’ development takes many of its cues from nature. Bespoke louvres curve gracefully around the structure, creating the characteristic sculptural outline and shading the interior from the intense desert sun. The windows are triple-glazed, heat reflective and constructed of solar electric glass (BIPV-building integrated solar photovoltaics), making the building remarkably energy efficient.

The centrally located vertical circulation and services core results in completely uninterrupted floor plates, allowing great flexibility in the floorplans and use of space. This core also encourages upward air flow, creating a natural ventilation system.

Standing at 150m, the tower boasts 60,000m² of usable space ranging from offices to restaurants, gardens, cinemas and luxury retail shopping.
